Wedding Attire and a Little Challenge (from me)

“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility,
gentleness, and patience.”

-Colossians 3:12

Okay… my LAST post about our wedding. Wedding attire is such a huge aspect of the design and colors of a wedding, so I couldn’t not write about it! But, before I get to the details, I wanted to write a quick little side note that was non-design related. If you are currently a bride, the maid of honor, the bridesmaid, or the mother/father of a bride … I hope that my recent posts have helped give you some ideas. Yes, planning a wedding is busy, crazy, stressful, and sometimes might make you want to pull your hair out… BUT it is also FUN, EXCITING, and will be over before you know it. So, enjoy this time and cherish every moment. But most importantly, remember that the design of a wedding is NOT the most important aspect of your upcoming wedding. I feel as though sometimes people forget what a wedding is all about, and it soon becomes a show. A show of who can have the best flowers, music, decor, invitations, etc… and I know I definitely fell victim to that and put pressure on myself to make everything as perfect as possible. BUT – I am challenging and encouraging you to use this time for so much more than just the planning. Use your engagement period as an opportunity to pray together as a couple and seek the Lord for His guidance over your future lives together as one. As stated in the bible verse at the beginning of this post, remember that your spouse deserves compassion when marriage gets hard, kindness even when it isn’t always easy to give it to him/her, and patience as you both learn to navigate your lives together. I could go on, but I’ll spare you my mooshyness.

Now, for the pictures!
